Time Warp

I really don’t know where the time goes! There I was talking about the start of summer and now it’s over. Obviously it’s always a busy time for the wedding industry but it really feels like someone has speeded up time!

In between weddings, photo shoots and dog walks I’ve been working with some local businesses helping promote ourselves and our region. The Lennox Wedding & Events Collective is a group of small business people that specialise in all kinds of events and functions across the Ballina shire and throughout the Byron region. It’s been great to meet such a wonderful group of people and I’m delighted to be a part of such a special group. Check them out if you are planning a wedding or event in the area.

It’s not all work though. I’ve been doing the early yoga sessions most days and I love to start the day feeling so refreshed.

We had some family visitors from Holland recently so I had the chance to show them around the gorgeous Northern Rivers, which they loved, and it was so nice to catch up with my Auntie and Uncle.

The Autumn days are just beautiful and apart from the storms its my favourite time of year. It doesn’t mean that things slow down though. Autumn weddings are very popular and I’m blessed to be shooting a few in the coming months.

I hope life is treating you all well and life is good. Well time has again caught up with me ill bid you farewell and promise I wont leave it so long between posts.

The blog is coming soon

It’s been a very busy winter for me. Establishing myself in the Byron Bay Shire and across the Northern Rivers whilst keeping my Hunter Valley clients happy and trying to launch a new website, not enough hours in the day. But I thrive on being busy and active, so it’s been fun at the same time.

With that in mind I was going to take the easy option and write ‘Blog coming soon’ with the intentions of starting it when I get a spare afternoon…yeah right, haha

Time does seem to go at a frightening rate these days and I’m not entirely sure why, maybe its age but it seems like everyone feels the same way. It’s one of the reasons I love filling my week with photo shoots. Its a great time to get outside and enjoy the moment, unhurried and relaxed in some gorgeous locations.

It’s not all work though…plenty of yoga and time in the garden growing herbs and veggies is a nice change of pace. There’s nothing better than cooking with vegetables from your own garden and the days have been stunning.

It’s been a mild winter but now spring is in the air and it’s been 25 degrees already. Before we know it the evenings will be getting longer and summer will be upon us. So embrace the busy season and let me know what you think of the new website.
