It’s wonderful to receive some heartfelt thanks for the work you’ve done. Feedback is always vital for any business to be able to improve and grow. Hearing positive feedback about your products or the way you work is always very welcomed and something that motivates you even more to keep striving to improve. I take a lot of time to make sure that my clients are happy and know what is happening every step of the way. This helps to forge a good working relationship and has often developed into great friendships.
I try to stick to the old saying that you should treat others how you would like to be treated yourself. There is nothing more warming and more valuable than the passionate words of a client that has had a wonderful experience. It underlines and confirms that you are doing a good job and feels like the proverbial slap on the back. It works both ways of course and everyone experiences negative feedback at some point in their career, this only helps you to improve and grow stronger. I believe that it’s important to get to know your couples and understand exactly what they want and expect from you. I have found that it makes the whole process run smoothly and makes it fun. The public sure are the harshest critics, but for good reason. They put their faith in you to capture a very special day full of magical, personal moments. You cannot begin to imagine how much joy your gorgeous images have brought to our lives. From our beautiful wedding, to family portraits with our beloved fur-babies, to announcing our pregnancy, you have been there to tell our fairytale from the very beginning with your gorgeous photos and infectious smile. The photos that you have taken line the walls of our home and are a constant reminder of all that we have to be thankful for.
You are an exceptional photographer and a truly incredible human being whom we are forever grateful to have met. We can’t wait for you to capture all the other milestone that we may blessed with in the future.

Photographers are plentiful, however true artists are few. Our deepest gratitude for creating masterpieces out of a camera shy couple. I can not count the number of times people have said “these are the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen” Not only were we amazed by your work, but our friends, family & colleagues have been nothing short of ‘awe stricken’ from seeing our wedding album. Investing in photography for our wedding was the best decision that we made in all of our wedding planning. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives and we get to relive this day every time we flip through our photos. Beyond your talent & professionalism, you are truly kind & genuine. April is a wonderful photographer and an amazing person. We were so pleased that we chose April to be our photographer. Not only did she take some amazing photos, she was a pleasure to work with in the lead up to wedding, on the wedding day as well as after. My husband and I both do not like having our picture taken but April made it feel effortless on the day. She’s very organised and did a wonderful job coordinating us, our bridal party and family to get the shots that we discussed that we’d like as well as more on the day, creatively using the landscape and buildings as back drop. Due to the weather on the day being quite hot with no clouds she suggested some changes to photo locations that allowed us to still get the shots we wanted but made the shoot more comfortable and as it turned out we got some amazing photos that we hadn’t thought of.
We were also presently surprised to get the photos quite quickly and were amazed with the variety, quality and quantity of photos to remember our special day. The album we ordered through April is absolutely amazing in terms of its quality. It captures the day perfectly and we are looking forward to sharing it with our children to show them Mummy and Daddy’s wedding day.

You are truly a talented photographer, Joel and I had seen Aprils amazing work through friends, and inquired to see if she was available for our wedding day, as we were having two weddings, a destination wedding in Thailand and to also have our marriage legalised here in Australia, we asked if she could do our Aus. Wedding, she replied that she also does Destination weddings & was available for the date we had requested we were so surprised and took the offer as we were unsure with a photographer we hadn’t met in Thailand so we took the opportunity to meet with April and have a look at more of her work, we were so impressed!
It was such an incredible experience to work with April, not only is her work absolutely stunning, she is such a fun person to work with and extremely flexible and accommodating. Aprils’ ability not to miss a moment is absolutely incredible. She has so much energy & is truly passionate about what she does.
We are so thrilled and forever grateful she took the time to fly to Thailand and capture so many amazing memories she went above and beyond.

We have now found it hard to choose 60 photos for our special wedding album out of the hundreds you had taken it’s going to be a tough one they are just so beautiful. Every time we look at the images we are reminded of the emotion, the laughs and fun of the day! We cannot thank you enough!

I honestly cannot speak highly enough of the talented April Werz. April was not only able to make myself comfortable in front of the camera all day but also my husband who is not one for getting photos at all. The photos April took on our wedding day are absolutely stunning and I could not have asked for anything more. The photos and album we got from April were pieced together in a perfect way that was able to tell our story to all those viewing the images. I loved absolutely every photo we received (which was over 1000 images) and was so excited to get our enlarged prints. My husband and I cannot speak highly enough of April’s professionalism and amazing work and we will be sure to recommend her to each and every friend we have who is looking for a photographer for any special event!

What a journey! You are such a beautiful soul and talented artist. From the first time I saw your work I knew that’s exactly what I wanted and after we met we felt so at ease, I just knew things were going to work out perfectly.
I appreciate how challenging it must of been photographing a small wedding, with an odd bridal party and we all find cameras terribly intimidating, especially my husband.. but you were so professional, calm and relaxed, yet fun..
You got on famously with ALL our other suppliers which made our day so much more smooth and your advice on lighting and timing made the world of difference in ensuring we made the most of every opportunity. When we received our photos, I cried the happiest of tears as you had given us something so unique and magical!
Our photos are more than I ever dreamt and our album is absolutely stunning. There really are no words to explain how grateful we are.

We found April very last minute, we’d decided we wanted a photographer at our engagement party, one so we didn’t have to worry about taking photos ourselves and two because we lived in Perth and we wanted to trial and meet our potential wedding photographer, and this would be our one and only opportunity before the wedding. Only a few days before the engagement party i was lucky enough to organise April to photograph my best friends increasingly large baby belly, she was my bridesmaid so it was her duty to help me pick the photographer, the perfect excuse!
I was so lucky that April was at the engagement party, as no one remembered to bring a camera! April was there for roughly 2 hours and after a quick briefing of what my expectations she went to work! She was almost invisible, at one point i actually forgot she was there and was surprised when she told me it was our turn for photos! It was great have a practice photo shoot, as like most people i’d never been in front of the professional lens! The whole day was fantastic, and the photos we received were better than i could have ever imagined! And it was just the engagement party!!
Come wedding day, and after various emails and phone calls over the previous 9 months, I really felt comfortable with April, like she was a friend. I’d been collecting various styles of photography and sending them to April who was very excited about being given the license to get creative! I was so rushed on the day, but April was seriously a very calming voice, its great getting a pep talk from someone who has literally done this before 100 of times! Her experience with the whole day was invaluable! I trusted her so much, that I almost wanted a rainy day because she told me that bad weather adds drama to the photos!
I am still amazed to this day, and slightly obsessed with my photos as i still don’t know how April did it! I hardly remember her being there!
We’d chosen a private garden for our photos, and it definitely helped in setting the theme and style. We knew April would just love this place and prior to the big day we’d managed to go and take photos of the location and then share them with April, just so she had a better feel for the location. Her dedication on the day was spectacular! At one point she was laying on the gravel just so she could get the right angle, it was amazing!
All of my guests during the reception were asking me how I knew my photographer, they all thought we were friends from years ago because they remembered her from the engagement party and because she was just so dedicated. They all came and told me how lovely she was and how relaxed and confident she was. Everyone wanted to know where i found her. It so great looking back through the photos of m guests, April just has this amazing ability to get a genuine smile from everyone. Everyone just looks so happy and comfortable…even my husband who hates getting his photo taken! He’s still so proud of himself for looking so handsome in all of the photos!
I would recommend April to anyone getting married, having a baby or getting engaged she is so affordable, and you will seriously be disappointed if you don’t have her. Our thought for the wedding was scrimp where we can, but invest in the photos, and what a wise investment we made. We have some amazing photos that we call our ‘Wedding Art’…we’re looking forward to getting huge canvas’s for our walls!
We’re looking forward to having April capture all of our milestones in our life!

April Werz is the most talented photographer I’ve ever come into contact with. Her happy gregarious manner puts you immediately at ease enabling her to capture images of her clients relaxed and having fun.
